Chris Warren – Co-Owner
Chris Warren is a dedicated and experienced goalie coach with over a decade of hands-on coaching expertise. At 31, he brings a powerful combination of high-level playing experience and technical knowledge to every athlete he works with.
Chris developed his skills through competitive play with the Mitchell Hawks (Junior C), the Orangeville Ice Crushers (GMHL), and the Shelburne Muskies (Senior A). His experience across multiple levels of the game gives him a deep understanding of the physical and mental demands required to succeed as a goaltender.
Known for his commitment to athlete development, Chris focuses on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and game awareness in goalies of all ages and skill levels. His coaching philosophy emphasizes consistency, discipline, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Chris is equally dedicated to the mental side of the game. He has invested significant time in courses and training focused on mindset and performance, ensuring his goalies receive a complete development experience both physically and mentally. He believes that confidence, focus, and resilience are just as critical as technical skill.
Driven by a genuine passion for the sport, Chris works with goaltenders from early development through to young adulthood, helping them pursue their goals while growing as individuals. He understands the pressures that come with the position and prioritizes creating an environment where athletes feel supported, prepared, and confident.

Taylor Welsh – Co-Owner
Taylor Welsh, Co-Owner of TC Goaltending, dedicated to developing the next generation of goalies both on and off the ice.
Taylor played AAA hockey in the GTHL with the Vaughan Kings and Toronto Young Nationals and was selected in the 2011 OHL Priority Draft by the Brampton Battalion. He continued his career at the Junior A level in the OJHL with the Orangeville Flyers and Wellington Dukes. In 2014, Taylor won the Central Canada Cup Challenge with Team Oates and earned an invitation to Team Canada East Camp for the World Jr. A Challenge.
After stepping away from the game due to mental health challenges, Taylor found a renewed purpose in giving back to the sport.
As Co-Owner of TC Goaltending, Taylor is passionate about helping young goalies and their families navigate the pressures and complexities of competitive hockey. Drawing from his own experiences, he is committed to creating a supportive environment where athletes can build confidence, develop their skills, and maintain a healthy relationship with the game.
His mission is to ensure that every goalie he works with feels supported, prepared, and able to enjoy their hockey journey to the fullest.
